Welcome
We would like to welcome a new Nurse to the Care Home this month. Leslie Mccann is originally from Liverpool but now lives in Anglesey. Leslie has over 40 years of experience and has previously managed a nursing home. We hope you settle in well amongst all the staff and enjoy all the lovely views on your way to work.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to new residents Mrs Elsie Parry from Nebo and Mr Raymond Cunnington from Blaenau Ffestiniog. We hope you both settle in well at Cartref Bryn yr Eglwys.
Happy Birthday
We would all like to wish a happy birthday to Mr Kenneth Humphreys from Porthmadog and Miss Margaret Griffiths this month. We hope you both have enjoyed your special day with all the staff and residents at Cartref Bryn yr Eglwys. Many thanks to the cooks for preparing a lovely cake for them both, along side a card and present.
Holiday
Our Carer, George Michael enjoyed time off this month. George returned to India (Kerala) to visit family and friends. It'll be lovely to have you back at work George, after a well-deserved rest.
Recreational Activity
The residents enjoyed an afternoon completing a quiz about Valentines Day. They also enjoyed their afternoon tea, which consisted of heart shaped short bread nicely decorated while watching a black and white romantic film. Thankyou to the cooks for providing such a lovely afternoon tea for the residents.
